fitness sportOne of the things I miss about college is having such easy access to fitness sports. It just so happened our neighbors for a couple years like to play basketball as much as we did and with the cul-de-sac hoop there was a game every other day. I really forget about the pain of exercise in the midst of competition. This is why fitness sports are such a great alternative to the normal grind in a gym. Back in college, basketball, racquetball, ultimate Frisbee and the occasional pick up soccer match were the go to activities on campus. Now I’ve been finding it hard to find anyone to shoot hoops with.

This lack of fitness sports has really begun to show through in my physique. It is tough staying in shape when working 40 hours a week but it is even tougher coming to grasp that I’m not in the same shape as I once was. There really is no reason for this other then a lack of time set aside for exercise. My goal is to take part in more fitness sports when the season changes.
