sporting goods


This is a perfect time to gather up the sporting goods and make a beeline for the beach! My family likes to spend days hanging out at the beach. We bring all kinds of sporting goods to keep us occupied. In a large rectangular shaped plastic crate we bring a frisbee, dodge ball, paddle ball set, football, kites and a volleyball.

We also cart an old fashioned boom box to the beach. I make the kids leave all their modern music players in the condo so they don't get full of sand and ruined. They are "OK' with that. We fill a cooler with all kinds of liquid refreshment and make a day of it. We truly stay on the beach and play with all those sporting goods until the sun sets.

In that huge blue plastic crate along with the sporting goods are games. When we tire of running up and down the beach we settle in for a challenging game of backgammon, dice or rummy. The days are not long enough for my family and I when we take a week long vacation to the coast!
