Might Spend Next Summer in Huge Camping Tents |

We have been shopping around for a camping tent and more camping gear and we finally found one that will work for us no matter if we're out for a weekend or a week. My husband and I are both self employed and we can work anywhere. We live in Phoenix use computers to do our jobs, so basically, we can be doing the work anywhere. We had a family discussion about this summer that we know will be hot and thought if we could spend the summer in the high country, we could have a much better time. To that end, we started looking around for larger camping tents, and found the Eureka Headquarters Tent that measures 12' x 8'6" which will be just perfect for us. I found the camping tents at KE Active Lifestyle at http://kayserenterprises.ispeedway.com, and this one has over 100 square feet inside which is plenty of room for two people per tent.
We have a friend who lives in a remote mountain canyon and has a lot of land surrounding her house. To say it's off the beaten path is an understatement. She doesn't even have electricity, so she uses solar panels to generate her house power. We were talking with her about joining her in her compound, setting up a couple of large camping tents, and spending the summer with her. She liked the idea.
We could set up our living spaces in two of these camping tents and do our work everyday. She has Wi-Fi Internet, even though it's so remote, and we could work in the tents, fold up our tables at night and roll out the cots for sleeping at night. We talked to the kids about it and they love the idea, as does our friend. It would help her a great deal to have some people on her property when she goes away. She has two dogs that she doesn't like to leave in the house when she's gone for days at a time visiting her kids in a nearby state, and we could take care of them.
We could also help her her with the garden, quite a chore considering its size. I think it sounds like a grand way to get out of the 100+ weather in Phoenix and have an adventure that would be like no other. She has two spare bedrooms in case the weather is too stormy for sleeping in the camping tents, and of course, we'd be using her guest bathrooms, too. It seems like a great way to spend three or four months, and it would be an adventure the kids wouldn't forget, either. They could spend hours in the woods, bring along their game consoles, and use the library in the next canyon over. We wouldn't need a lot of camping gear, either, life could be quite civilized, and certainly much cooler.
